Phytochemical Screening Methods and Drug Standardization9 Hours- Phytochemical screening: qualitative tests for alkaloids, glycosides, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, terpenoids, sterols, fixed oils
- Standardization of plant drugs: WHO guidelines; pharmacopoeial standards; chemical fingerprinting by TLC, HPLC, HPTLC
- Chromatographic methods of isolation: column chromatography, preparative TLC, HPLC — applications in natural product isolation
